Sri E.K.Lingamurthy is the founder and promoter of the Swastic Group of Companies. As Managing Director of Swastic Corporation Ltd., Erode and Chairman of United Bleachers Ltd., Mettupalayam he has been the beacon light, leading the group activities.

Originally belonging to an agriculturist’s family, Sri Lingamurthy ventured into business by starting a small Chemical Distribution in the year 1970. Today it has a business with over Rs.50 crores turnover and now caters to Tamilnadu, Kerala & other places in India. He is ably supported in his activities by his sons Sri.L.Sharavanan and Sri .L.Naresh Chandran.
